Refund of Excise Duty on Diesel Oil
Customers from EU-member states who have signed up for the VAT refund service at Nikosax A/S can also claim refund of excise duty on diesel oil in a number of EU countries
In countries like Italy, Belgium and France, companies with
registered motor vehicles are entitled to partial refund of
excise duty on diesel oil:
- in transport of goods by road, as from a permissible gross
weight of 7.5 t
- in passenger traffic, as from 9 passenger seats in category
M2/M3
- when tanking of oil can be connected to a certain
vehicle (e.g. with a motor-vehicle-related oil card)
